<About model>
The Curtiss C-46 Commando is a transport aircraft derived from
the Curtiss CW-20 pressurised high-altitude airliner design.
IT was designed in 1937 by George A. Page Jr., the chief aircraft
designer at Curtiss-Wright. This aircraft was provided to
JASDF from US Army in 1955. About 36 air crafts were provided.
