About the Aircraft

The Kawanishi N1K Kyōfū (“strong wind”) is an Imperial Japanese Navy floatplane fighter.
The Kawanishi N1K-J Shiden (“Violet Lightning”, codename "George" by the Allies) was a land-based version of the N1K.
The Shiden Kai, a modification of Shiden, possessed heavy armament as well as surprisingly good maneuverability.
The late version was characterized by a smaller vertical stabilizer.
 

About the Kit

This is an unpainted assembly plastic model kit for N1K2-J SHIDEN KAI in 1/144 scale.
-Glue and paint are not included.
-The kit includes TWO N1K2-J SHIDEN KAI model kits, and is highly accurate with recessed panel lines.
-The Kit is produced for easy to assemble, and made for enjoying the colorful marking of N1K2-J SHIDEN KAI.
-The marking and painting instruction and box art are also renewed.
-The silk-screen printing decals are made by Cartograf including new canopy frame.
-The finish is about 65mm in length.
-Five marking scheme are as below,
