【About the Aircraft】
F6F Hellcat, a symbolic carrier fighter of U.S. Navy in WWII, some were re-designed to drone with its superior high performance and utility. Flyable with remote control, unmanned F6F could respond to hazardous mission manned aircraft could not do, and the project contributed to progress aviation technology subsequent to the present.
【About the Kit】
This is a 1/144 scale unpainted plastic model assembly kit for F6F-3K HELLCAT.
-Paint and Glue are required.
-Contains TWO F6F-3K HELLCAT model kits in high accuracy with recessed panel lines.
-Decal including 5 marking schemes as below,
(A) F6F-3K One of the First drone conversions. Naval Air Development Unit, Jonesville, PA. 1945.
(B) F6F-3 used for Training purpose. Naval Air Station Alameda, CA. 1946
(C)(D)(E) F6F-3K Observer Drones for Special Operation, participated in the nuclear test “Operation Crossroads”, Bikini Islands, 1946.
-The total length is about 72mm.
-Box Size is about 190×110×30mm
