About the Aircraft

The EA-18G Growler is a US Navy electronic warfare aircraft in operation since 2009. The Royal Australian Air Force is the only one outside the United States that has deployed and operated the aircraft from 2019. The EA-18G Growler is developed by Boeing based on the F/A-18 Super Hornet as a successor to the E/A-6B Prowler. Equipped with advanced electronic warfare equipment such as an AN/ALQ-99 tactical jamming system and ALQ-227 communication jamming system, the E/A-6B Prowler demonstrates high ability.
