About the Aircraft

The F-2A fighter of JASDF is jointly developed by Japan and the United States as a successor to the support fighter F-1, and started operation in 2000. Currently, the F-2A is on the mission in the 3rd Squadron at Hyakuri AB and the 6th and 8th Squadrons at Tsuiki AB. Each squadron applies special painting for commemorative events, and the No. 523 of 6th Squadron at Tsuiki AB appeared with special marking in 2019 became a big topic at the time. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the squadron formation, the No. 558 was painted with a red Yatagarasu(three-legged crow) and left a strong impression.
 

About the Kit

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the fighter F-2A single seat type of JASDF in 1/144 scale.
■Contains One F-2A aircraft with F-toys made parts, easy to assemble.
■Reproduce the F-2A No. 523 with a special painting in memory of the 60th anniversary of the 6th Squadron foundation in 2020.
■The Special marking of the red wing of the Yatagarasu covers the upper surface of the main wing is prepared with large decals.
